Extensions & Integrations
This chapter covers the available integrations with external systems — accounting software, fulfillment, marketplace platforms, wholesale platforms, Instagram, and stock synchronization between stores.
Can't see an add-on in the menu?
Add-ons live under System › Additional Settings › Add-ons. If one is missing there, switch it on in System › Store features — features that are switched off are only hidden from the sidebar.
ERP: Kros
Path: System › Additional Settings › Add-ons › KROS Invoicing (/admin/addons/kros)
Kros is a Slovak accounting and business management software. The integration enables invoice synchronization from Merzio to Kros (manually or automatically, e.g. when an order is paid). Configuration requires API credentials.
INFO
If you don't see KROS Invoicing in the menu, switch it on in System › Store features.
ERP: Pohoda
Path: System › Additional Settings › Add-ons › POHODA (/admin/addons/pohoda)
Pohoda is the dominant accounting software in the Czech and Slovak markets. The integration exposes XML endpoints with orders and invoices that Pohoda downloads periodically, and optionally allows stock import from Pohoda. Credentials (username and password) are generated directly in the admin; you can also configure an order status filter (paid / pending / all) and marking of already exported orders.
INFO
If you don't see POHODA in the menu, switch it on in System › Store features.
Fulfillment: Depoto
Path: System › Additional Settings › Add-ons › Depoto Fulfillment (/admin/settings/depoto)
Depoto is a fulfillment and warehouse system. Once paid, orders are automatically pushed to Depoto for fulfillment. The integration supports catalog import or push (sync direction: push / pull / import then push), mapping of shipping methods to Depoto carriers, and synchronization of shipment tracking numbers. Configuration requires Depoto API credentials.
Marketplace: BaseLinker
Path: System › Additional Settings › Add-ons › BaseLinker (/admin/settings/baselinker)
BaseLinker (Base.com) is a platform for connecting marketplace channels (Allegro, Kaufland, and others). Merzio acts as the shop in it: BaseLinker reads the catalog and orders from your store and — depending on what you allow — sends marketplace orders, status changes, stock and prices into it.
Connecting
- In BaseLinker add a new integration of the type Shops → Other shop. BaseLinker displays a communication password — copy it.
- In Merzio switch on Enable BaseLinker Integration, paste the password into the Password from BaseLinker field and click Save password.
- Copy the Connector URL from this page, paste it into the BaseLinker form and click Save there.
BaseLinker does not test the connection when you save — the integration becomes active when it first calls your store (typically within a few minutes). If, exceptionally, BaseLinker did not generate a password, create one in Merzio under Advanced — generate password locally and set it by hand in BaseLinker.
Permissions
Reading (catalog, orders) is always allowed. Every write has its own toggle:
| Toggle | What it allows | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Allow stock updates from BaseLinker | BaseLinker changes product stock counts | off |
| Allow price updates from BaseLinker | BaseLinker changes product prices | off |
| Allow new products from BaseLinker | BaseLinker creates new products in your catalog | off |
| Allow new categories from BaseLinker | BaseLinker creates new categories | off |
| Allow incoming orders from BaseLinker | Marketplace orders (Allegro, eBay…) come into the store | on |
| Allow order updates from BaseLinker | BaseLinker changes the status, marks the order paid and adds the tracking number — including orders from your own store that it downloaded | on |
Order statuses
Statuses are not mapped in Merzio. The store has fixed status IDs for BaseLinker (the Order status IDs for BaseLinker table on the settings page) and you map your statuses to them in BaseLinker (Settings → Order statuses → shop integration):
| ID | Status in Merzio |
|---|---|
| 1 | Pending |
| 2 | Processing |
| 3 | Shipped |
| 4 | Ready for pickup |
| 5 | Out for Delivery |
| 6 | Delivered |
| 7 | Completed |
| 8 | Cancelled |
| 9 | Returned |
- Paid is not a status — BaseLinker sends it separately, independently of the order status.
- When BaseLinker changes a status, Merzio does not e-mail the customer about the change — in that case the notifications are sent by BaseLinker.
Stock and prices
- Stock semantics decides which counts are reported to BaseLinker and how the counts it sends are understood: Available to sell (physical − active reservations) (what the customer sees) or Physical stock (raw count).
- If you allow stock updates, BaseLinker sends the resulting counts to the store and becomes the stock master. Keep the Available to sell (physical − active reservations) mode and stock reservations enabled then (Catalog › Stock › Stock Settings). Otherwise an order from your store can be deducted twice — once in Merzio and once through BaseLinker; the settings page warns you about it.
- The current selling price including VAT is reported to BaseLinker. A price that BaseLinker sends to the store replaces the product's regular price and clears its sale price.
B2B Platform: Datara
Path: System › Additional Settings › Datara Integration (/admin/settings/datara)
Datara is a wholesale / B2B platform. The integration supports bidirectional product and stock synchronization.
Configuration includes:
- Base URL and API credentials (inbound and outbound)
- Sync direction: bidirectional, push only, or pull only
- What is synced: products, stock, prices
- Default warehouse mapping
- Field mapping (maps Datara fields to Merzio product fields)
- Warehouse mapping (maps Datara warehouses to Merzio warehouses)
Sync logs are stored per connection for auditing.
Product codes in order exports
Every order line stores the product code (SKU) when the order is created, so the code survives in exports even after a variant is deleted.
- The order XML feed includes
<sku>and<ean>elements per line. - POHODA now sends the specific variant's code in
<inv:code>(previously it sent the parent product's code).
Older orders have no stored code — for those the current product/variant code is used, as before.
Instagram Feed
Path: System › Additional Settings › Add-ons › Instagram Feed (/admin/addons/instagram-feed)
The Instagram Feed integration connects your Instagram account via OAuth and displays a grid of recent posts on your storefront. The OAuth callback is handled centrally and redirects back to your store.
My order
Path: System › Additional Settings › Add-ons › My order (/admin/addons/order-lookup)
A page where the customer enters the order number and e-mail and sees the status, progress and shipment tracking — no account needed.
- My order (order status without login) — the toggle that switches the page on. While it is off, the customer gets a 404 (page not found) error at its address.
- Public page address — by default
/my-orderin an English store (/moja-objednavkain a Slovak one,/moje-objednavkain a Czech one). Copy the address with Copy or open it with Open in store. The path is changed in SEO Settings (the My order page path field). - Footer link — the Add to footer button adds a "My order" link to the store footer so customers can find the page. If you have changed the path in the meantime, a Fix footer link button appears.
The lookup is protected against guessing: at most 5 attempts per minute are allowed from one place.
Store Stock Sync
Path: Catalog › Stock › Multi-Store Sync (/admin/store-sync)
Store Sync allows two or more Merzio stores to synchronize stock movements in real time.
Configuration
- Sync groups: Named groups linking multiple stores
- Each store in the group designates which of its warehouses participates
- When a stock movement occurs in a participating warehouse, the sync service updates all other stores in the group
- The target store applies the stock change to the matching product/variant (matched by SKU)
Sync events and logs are recorded for auditing. SKU consistency is validated before applying sync.
Requirements
- Both stores must be on the Merzio platform
- Products must have consistent SKUs across stores — sync matches products by SKU
Heureka: Conversion Measurement & Verified by Customers
Path: Engage › Marketing › Tracking Codes (/admin/tracking-codes)
Two Heureka services are built in, each with separate keys for Heureka.cz and Heureka.sk (fill in only the portals you use):
- Conversion measurement — tells Heureka which visits from the comparison site ended in a purchase. Paste the API key from your Heureka administration (section Měření konverzí – nové / Meranie konverzií – nové) and enable the toggle. The measurement scripts load automatically on the product detail and order confirmation pages, and only with the customer's marketing cookie consent.
- Verified by Customers (Ověřeno zákazníky / Overené zákazníkmi) — after each order, Heureka emails the customer a satisfaction questionnaire; the collected reviews earn the shop the certificate badge. Paste the 32-character secret key from the Ověřeno zákazníky section of your Heureka administration. When enabled, checkout automatically shows a checkbox where the customer can decline the questionnaire (GDPR); declined orders are never reported to Heureka.
Once Heureka awards you the certificate, you can also switch on the certificate badge — the yellow "Verified by Customers" seal on the edge of your storefront. It uses a third key, the public badge key (the value after setKey in the certificate-icon code in your Heureka administration — not the secret key), plus a choice of left/right edge and distance from the top so it doesn't collide with your cookie bar. Only one badge is ever shown: the portal matching the storefront language.
INFO
Product identifiers reported to Heureka match the ITEM_ID values in the Heureka product feed, so conversions and questionnaires pair correctly with your listed products.
Google Customer Reviews
Path: Engage › Marketing › Tracking Codes (/admin/tracking-codes)
Paste your Google Merchant Center account ID — Merzio fills in every order detail automatically. Three parts are available:
- Post-order survey — on the thank-you page Google asks the customer whether they want to rate the purchase once it arrives. Merzio passes Google the order number, e-mail, delivery country and estimated delivery date.
- Product ratings — when enabled, the EAN/GTIN codes of the purchased products are sent too, so reviews attach to individual products rather than only to the store.
- Store rating widget — a floating star-rating badge on every page of the storefront.
The estimated delivery date comes from the delivery time configured on the shipping method. Methods with no delivery time fall back to the number of days set here.
Requirements
- A Google Merchant Center account
- The Google Customer Reviews Program Agreement accepted — without it the survey never appears
- A verified store domain and HTTPS
- Google Customer Reviews does not work through Google Tag Manager. If you have it deployed there, remove it — otherwise the survey shows twice.
INFO
Google does not offer Slovak for the survey dialog. Left unset, it follows the customer's browser language, so a Slovak customer sees English; Czech is the closest usable option.
The EAN/GTIN codes are the same ones used in the Google Shopping feed, so reviews pair with your listings. The rating widget only shows stars after roughly 100 reviews from a country in the last 12 months.
Product Feeds
Product feeds enable distributing your catalog to price comparison sites and aggregators (Google, Heureka, Zboží.cz, ChatGPT Shopping…). Learn how to create and configure them in the Product feeds section.
Importing Products from Another Platform
If you are migrating to Merzio from another platform, you can import your catalog from its export. Alongside the original Shoptet importer, imports from Heureka and Upgates are now available too.
Path: Catalog › Products › All Products → the Import Products button (one-off import) or Catalog › Products › Automatic Imports (recurring import from a feed URL).
Selecting the platform
The platform is not auto-detected — you pick it yourself:
- Source Platform — Shoptet, Heureka, or Upgates.
- Format — the input file format for the selected platform.
- Target language (Upgates only) — the Upgates export is multilingual; this field picks which language is imported.
All three platforms share the same pipeline as Shoptet:
- the same field-control checkboxes (stock, variant stock, recommended price, media files, etc.) — an unchecked field is never overwritten by the import;
- the same sync policy (match key, policy for existing and missing products);
- the same scheduling under Catalog › Products › Automatic Imports;
- the same one-off upload flow on the product import screen.
One-off import
For Upgates and Heureka this is a file upload that runs immediately and skips the column-mapping and preview step. No sample template is offered for download either — you supply your own export from the source platform.
Upgates
Parses the Upgates product XML export (<PRODUCTS><PRODUCT>). The export is multilingual — the Target language field picks which language is imported.
"Upgates XML export. Multilingual — the target locale picks the language."
It brings in:
- name, description, and short description
- SKU (
CODE), EAN, external ID - brand (
MANUFACTURER), supplier, unit, VAT - the final price (
PRICE_WITH_VAT), recommended price / RRP (PRICE_ORIGINAL), and cost price (PRICE_PURCHASE) - weight (in kg), stock, and per-warehouse stock (
STOCKS) - supplier lead time (from the trailing number in
AVAILABILITY) - variants (with their own stock, price, parameters, and images)
- images, parameters / attributes, categories (flat leaf names only), labels/flags, related and alternative products
- and — uniquely — product documents / PDF files (
FILES), attached when the media files field (media.files) is enabled
What the Upgates import does not support
- Product dimensions (length/width/height) — Upgates carries none in the feed (
<LENGTH>is an order-quantity limit, not a dimension). - Category hierarchy — only flat, root-level categories are imported.
- Explicit sale/discount blocks — a sale is derived from
PRICE_ORIGINALversusPRICE_WITH_VAT. - Order-quantity limits.
- Configurations, sets, gifts, and accessories.
Empty tag = keep the existing value
In Upgates' own importer an empty tag means "delete." Merzio does the opposite — an empty tag leaves the existing value untouched. Under an update sync policy this is the correct behavior: the import will not wipe a value you filled in by hand with an empty value from the feed.
Heureka import
Imports from a Heureka product XML feed; variants are grouped by ITEMGROUP_ID.
"Heureka XML feed. Carries no stock data; variants are grouped by ITEMGROUP_ID."
No stock data
Heureka feeds carry no stock levels, so this import brings in no stock. The other standard product fields the feed contains are imported normally.
Not the same as Heureka conversion measurement
This is a product import source. It is unrelated to Heureka conversion measurement, Verified by Customers, and the certificate widget described above — those are marketing tracking features, not a catalog import.
Payment Gateways
An overview of available payment gateways and their configuration is in the Order Process — Payment Methods section.
Carriers
Integrated carriers (Packeta, Slovak Post, GLS, PPL, DPD, SPS) are configured under System › Basic Settings › Shipping. See the Order Process — Shipping Methods section and the Shipping chapter.
Future Extensions
The Merzio platform is actively developed. Product feeds for Heureka (SK/CZ), Zboží.cz, and Google Merchant are already available (see Product Feeds above); planned extensions include additional marketing integrations (e.g. Glami) and further ecosystem expansions. Follow updates in the portal.
