Services & Bookings

In addition to physical and digital products, Merzio lets you sell services. Services support online bookings, availability management, and different delivery modes.
Services Overview
The /admin/services page lists all created services.
Service Types
When creating a service, choose from three types:
- One-time — A single session or appointment (e.g. massage, photoshoot)
- Recurring — A subscription-based service with regular repetition
- Consultation — An advisory or consulting session
Delivery Mode
- Online — Virtual service (video call, online consultation)
- In-person — Service provided at a physical location
- Online & in-person — Customer chooses the delivery mode
Creating a Service
Path: Admin > Catalog > Products > Services > Add service (/admin/services/create)
The service creation form contains these fields:
- Service type — Choose from three types (One-time, Recurring, Consultation)
- Delivery mode — Choose location (Online, In-person, Online & in-person)
- Name — Service name (multilingual)
- Short description — Brief service description (rich text editor, multilingual)
- Description — Detailed description (rich text editor, multilingual)
- Slug — URL identifier (auto-generated)
- Category — Assign the service to a category
- Price — Price including VAT
- Duration — Length of the service in minutes
- Active — Enable/disable the service
Availability Calendar
After creating a service, configure its availability using the weekly calendar. The calendar shows Monday through Sunday with time slots — set available hours for each day of the week.
Bookings
Path: Admin > Catalog > Products > Services > Bookings (/admin/services/bookings)
Manage customer bookings. Each booking has one of four statuses:

|---|---|
| Pending | Waiting for confirmation |
| Confirmed | Booking has been confirmed |
| Completed | Service has been provided |
| Cancelled | Booking was cancelled |
Choice Types
Path: Admin > Catalog > Products > Services > Choice types (/admin/services/choice-types)
Manage configurable options that customers can select when booking (e.g. add-on services, preferences).
Service Settings
Path: Admin > System > Basic Settings > Service settings (/admin/settings/services)
Main Settings
- Enable services — Master toggle; when off, the services section is hidden across the entire store
- Bank transfer — Allow bank transfer payment for services
- Cash on delivery (pay on site) — Allow payment on pickup
- Card payment (Stripe) — Allow card payment via Stripe
- Allow booking without login — Enable booking for non-logged-in visitors
- Hide cart icon — Hide the cart icon in service mode
- Hide wishlist icon — Hide the wishlist icon
Service Listing Configuration
Path: Admin > Catalog > Products > Configuration > Service listing (/admin/settings/service-listing-config)
Configure the appearance of the services listing page.
Items per Page
- Services per page — Number of services shown on one page
Hero Banner
- Background image — Image for the main banner
- Page title — Main heading (multilingual)
- Page subtitle — Subtitle (multilingual)
Sidebar
- Show filter sidebar — Enable/disable the sidebar panel
- Sidebar type — Static (always visible) or Collapsible (toggle)
- Open by default — Whether the panel is open by default
Grid Columns
- Items per row (mobile) — Number of columns on mobile
- Items per row (tablet) — Number of columns on tablet
- Items per row (desktop) — Number of columns on desktop
