Design
Path: Admin > Design
The Design section is one home for everything about how your store looks — theme, branding, component styling, navigation and layout, and custom code. These settings used to be scattered across several places; now they form one continuous surface.
Structure of the Design section
Under Design in the sidebar you will find:
| Item | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Design editor | The main appearance editor — brand & colors, logo & favicon, typography, headers & navigation, search, buttons & forms, mobile menu, desktop category sidebar, admin |
| Theme management | Choosing the variant (theme) of individual storefront components |
| Themes | Catalog of themes to install |
| Custom Code | Custom CSS and HTML in the head/footer |
Navigation & layout
In the same section, under the Navigation & layout divider:
| Item | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Menu management | Items of the main menu, footer, and category sidebar menu |
| Mobile Menu Blocks | Extra blocks shown in the mobile menu |
| Footer Builder | Composing the footer from blocks |
| Product listing configuration | Appearance and behavior of the product listing |
| Product listing banner | Banner above the product listing |
The shared left rail (Design rail)
The Design editor, Theme management, and Custom Code pages share the same left rail, so they feel like a single surface — you switch between settings without going back to the main menu. The rail's links use a ?tab= parameter, so you can link directly to a specific tab.
The rail is split into five groups:
| Group | Items |
|---|---|
| Theme | General · Components · Sidebar |
| Branding | Brand & colors · Logo & favicon · Typography |
| Component styling | Headers & navigation · Search · Buttons & forms |
| Layout | Mobile menu · Desktop category sidebar · Product listing |
| Advanced | Admin · Custom Code · Themes |
TIP
Items appear according to your permissions and enabled add-ons — if you don't see one, check the add-ons in the Marketplace or the user's permissions.
After-add-to-cart behavior
On the Theme management → Components page, alongside the component variants, you'll find the After add to cart setting with a live preview:
- Open cart drawer (default) — the cart slides out after a product is added.
- Show recommendations modal — a window with recommended products opens.
- Nothing (just update cart count) — the customer stays on the page and only the cart counter changes.
