Warehouses & Suppliers

Path: Admin > Stock > Warehouses (/admin/warehouses)

Warehouses define where stock physically sits. Besides your own warehouses you can also have supplier (external) warehouses — the goods sit at the supplier and dispatch takes a few days longer. You can show this to customers directly on the product.

Supplier warehouse

The warehouse form has a Supplier Warehouse section:

Field	Description
This is a supplier (external) warehouse	Marks the warehouse as a supplier one. Stock is still sellable and still counts toward availability — it just ships later.
Default restock days from the supplier	How many days it takes for goods to arrive from the supplier (0–365). Appears only after the checkbox above is ticked.

What a supplier warehouse affects

• Stock deduction order — an order deducts first from the default warehouse, then from other own warehouses, and supplier warehouses come last.
• Delivery estimate — if a product is available only from a supplier warehouse, the calculated delivery date shifts by the restock days for every shipping method.
• Availability itself doesn't change — stock in a supplier warehouse sells normally and counts toward the total.

Mixed availability

If even 1 unit is in your own warehouse, the delivery estimate does not shift — dispatch from your own stock is assumed.

Per-warehouse availability display

Instead of a single availability line, you can show the customer a separate line per warehouse (e.g. "In stock 5" and "In stock at supplier 10").

Enabling it takes two steps:

1. Global toggle — Admin > Stock > Stock settings → Split availability by warehouse (off by default).
2. On each warehouse that should be visible, enable Show as an availability line on the product.

Ticking the first box reveals further settings:

Field	Description
Customer-facing name	The line's text, per language (e.g. "In stock", "In stock at supplier"). Leave empty to use the default text for that warehouse type.
Indicator color	The dot color next to the line (6-digit HEX). Defaults to green for own warehouses, blue for supplier ones.
Show delivery days in the availability line	Supplier warehouses only. This hides only the "(delivery within X days)" text — the delivery estimate always shifts so it stays truthful.

Where it shows

• The split availability appears only on the product detail, not on listing cards.
• Lines are ordered: own warehouses first, supplier warehouses last.
• Only warehouses that are active, visible, and have available quantity > 0 are shown.

When the classic single line is used

Even with the split enabled, the original single line is used when: the product is out of stock, is a preorder / backorder, or there is a single line from an own warehouse. In those cases the usual thresholds and custom availability messages apply.

Restock days for a specific product

Besides the warehouse default, a specific product in a specific warehouse can have its own number of days. It takes precedence:

days on the product + warehouse  →  default days on the warehouse  →  no shift

WARNING

This per-product value cannot yet be entered manually in the administration — it is filled automatically by imports (e.g. from Shoptet, from availability text like "V externom sklade 3"). In the administration you set the default value on the warehouse.

Warehouses and shipping

Each shipping method can have warehouses assigned that it is fulfilled from — see Shipping settings.

Warehouses from imports

If an import brings per-warehouse stock, missing warehouses are created automatically from the feed's name (or code). Names containing "dodávateľ", "dodavatel", "extern" (or "supplier" for codes) are flagged as supplier warehouses right away.

After the first import

Review the newly created warehouses — confirm the supplier flag and fill in the default restock days.
