Stock history and movement types

Path: Catalog › Stock › Inventory History (/admin/stock/history)

1. In the admin, open Catalog › Stock › Inventory History.
2. You can search by product, SKU, or order number; use Filter to narrow the list to a date range (the chosen filters appear as removable chips).
3. The list shows each stock movement: what changed, the quantity before/after, type, user, and note.
4. Use the Export to Excel button in the header to download the filtered history.

Movement types

When you add or subtract stock in the admin, import a file, or transfer between warehouses, the system records each movement with the matching type.

Type	Meaning
manual_update	Manual change (Add / Subtract in the admin)
order	Change on an order
return	Product return
import	Import from a file
adjustment	Adjustment / correction
transfer	Transfer between warehouses
reservation	Reservation (e.g. to cart)
reservation_released	Reservation released
